







John Todd
A native Bostonian, John is a graduate of Boston College High School and the United States Military Academy at West Point. John served over 7 years on active duty as an Army Aviator. After completing flight school, he served 6 consecutive years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in various Airborne units. His military duties were highlighted by pre- Advanced/Career Course selection for two separate Company Commands and assignment as Aide-de–Camp to a Major General. Upon separation from the military, John entered Corporate America and has served in a variety of positions to include Sales Representative, General Manager, President and CEO. He has worked for both Inc 500 companies and Global 50 companies and has served as CEO or controlling shareholder for eleven different corporations in a variety of industries. John has successfully led numerous mergers and acquisitions for several corporations and has consistently delivered exceptional returns for shareholders. He is the founder of McGill Group, Alliance’s parent organization, and serves as its CEO. John has served as CEO of Alliance International since it was founded in 2003. He lives in North Carolina with his wife Virginia, a fellow West Point graduate and is the proud father of 6 children: Theresa, Patricia, Catherine, Stephanie, Maggie and Caroline. Theresa is a 2009 West Point graduate presently serving in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division and Patricia is a 2010 West Point graduate and serving at Fort Bragg as part of the 16th Military Police Brigade.
Frank Grecco
A native of New York, Frank is a graduate of Saint Anthony’s High School and The United States Naval Academy where he earned a B.S. in Political Science with a Spanish minor and played Varsity Soccer. He commissioned Marine Corps and served six years as an Artillery Officer. Frank was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines at Camp Pendleton, CA. His billets included Platoon Commander, Forward Observer, Fire Direction Officer, Battalion S-3A and Battalion Fire Direction Officer. He has deployed to Okinawa, Japan and to Iraq with 1st Marine Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then accepted orders to Headquarters, Marine Corps. In 2006, Frank left active duty and joined Stryker Orthopaedics. He served as Operations Manager and Trauma Sales Representative in North Carolina. In 2010, Frank joined Alliance and is a Senior Partner focusing on candidate selection and business development. Frank resides in Cary, North Carolina with his wife Kimberly and their son Luca. He is a graduate of The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s Kenan Flagler Business School where he earned his MBA in 2010.
John Zornick
John is a proud native of Buffalo, NY and graduated from the United States Military Academy. He was a distinguished cadet at West Point and majored in Engineering Management. He served as an infantry officer in airborne, light, and mechanized units throughout a 20 year career. He has completed Airborne, Jumpmaster, and Ranger schools (where he was an honor graduate) as well as all professional development courses through the Army Command and General Staff College. He is a combat veteran, commanded a rifle company and a long range surveillance detachment, and served in a variety of staff positions at every level from battalion through Army Service Component Command. He was selected for advanced civil schooling and received his master’s degree in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology. In his tours away from troops he taught mathematics at West Point and served with the ROTC program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. John has been with Alliance since 2006 where he manages the candidate development program. John lives in the Chapel Hill area with his wife Pam where they enjoy the great outdoors and all that the Triangle area has to offer. They have two children, John (USMA 2010) and Joseph.
Roger Lush
A native Chicagoan, Roger is a graduate of Grayson County High School and Vincennes University. Roger retired from active duty as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer and Sergeants Major Academy Select. Roger’s assignments include Fort Stewart, Georgia; Germany; Fort Knox, Kentucky; Fort Riley, Kansas; Hawaii; and Fort Benning, Georgia. His military duties were highlighted by participating in Operations Desert Shield / Desert Storm, Drill Sergeant, and deploying as First Sergeant in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon retiring from the military, Roger joined Alliance International Incorporated concentrating on the Industry Experience (IE) business development and recruiting while also serving as a Senior Partner. He lives in North Carolina with his wife Denise, a Registered Nurse, and is the proud father of 3 children: Elizabeth, Rachel, and Travis.
Tim Shubzda
Born and raised in the Dallas area, Tim is a graduate of Naaman Forest High School and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. He was a four year letterman in football at Navy and was named to College Football News All-Independent Team in 1999. He is also a member of the 1996 Aloha Bowl Championship Team. He went on to serve over ten years in the Navy as an F/A-18 Hornet fighter pilot. Tim now serves as a Regional Manager with Alliance focusing on business development and is involved in the selection of prospective candidates. He currently lives in the Dallas area with his wife Mandy and is the proud father of their beautiful young daughter Brooklynn. Tim continues to serve as a LCDR in the Navy Reserve.
Eric Burns
Eric is originally from central Virginia. He graduated at the top of his class at Madison County High School and then received his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. After graduation he was commissioned as a 2ndLt in the Marine Corps, completed the Basic Officer Course and reported for flight training in Pensacola. Graduating at the top of his class, he selected CH-46E helicopters and held both operational and maintenance positions; ultimately selected as the officer in charge of the squadron’s largest division. He deployed in support of OIF I and participated in the initial missions in support the push into Iraq. His final 2 years on active duty were spent as the officer in charge of an officer selection station selecting and training college students aspiring to be Marine Officers. After transitioning in 2005, Eric joined Alliance International initially as a Business Development Manager, and then began to work on the Candidate team. Now a Senior Partner, he is involved both in the selection of prospective candidates as well as the execution and evaluation of follow-up interviews and offers. He resides in Raleigh with his wife Tracy, a fellow University of Virginia graduate, and their daughter Samantha. Eric also earned his MBA from the University of Florida and continues to serve as a Major in the Marine Corps Reserve
Stuart Keeter
Stuart grew up in Irmo, SC, where his high school days were busy playing for the State Champion Basketball team and serving as class president. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. Stuart served six years in the Army as an Armor Officer. During this time, he served over 3 years as a paratrooper in the 82nd airborne division where his Cavalry troop was awarded the prestigious Draper Award. Upon leaving the Army, Stuart was selected to join a competing JMO recruiting service. He quickly became a top recruiter and created a new division for the company. After his experience as a recruiter, Stuart entered the manufacturing industry in various operation roles with a global company. His position included Logistic Program Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Line Manager. Because of Stuart’s military recruiting and business experience, he was selected to be a co-founder of Alliance International. He presently serves as Vice President and Senior Partner. Stuart lives in NC with his wife Lisa and is a proud father of 3 children: Elizabeth, Anna Stuart and Hudson.
Mary Stone
Mary Stone joined the Alliance team in 2007 bringing with her over 15 years of Sales and international Sales Management experience. She led the marketing initiative and International Sales Strategy for a leading Imaging Software Development Company. She is member of our Career Transition Services team and works closely with the active duty officers to identify career options and then assist them in developing marketing strategies to create a successful Corporate Transition. She is a Graduate of the University of Massachusetts and has relocated to the Raleigh area from Rhode Island with her family to be a part of the Alliance team.
Frank Grecco
A native of Northport, New York, Frank graduated from Saint Anthony’s High School and went on to The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer team and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation from Annapolis, he commissioned into the United States Marine Corps, attended The Basic School at Quantico, Virginia and the United States Army Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Following graduation from FAOBC in June 2001, Frank was assigned to Second Battalion, Eleventh Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton, California. While with Second Battalion, Eleventh Marines, he served as Guns Platoon Commander, Forward Observer attached to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Infantry Regiment and deployed to Camp Hanson, Okinawa, Japan as part of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. In January 2003, Frank deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and subsequently to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in March 2003 as part of the initial combat operations. Frank also served as a battery fire direction officer, Headquarters Platoon Commander, Battalion Assistant Operations Officer and Battalion Fire Direction Officer. Upon completion of this assignment, he accepted orders to Headquarters, Marine Corps at Quantico, Virginia where he served as the Officer-in-Charge of Manpower and Information Systems. In July 2006, Frank left active duty and through Alliance International, transitioned into corporate America with Stryker Orthopaedics, a global leader in the medical device industry. From July 2006 until October 2010, Frank served as Branch Operations Manager for Stryker Orthopaedics’ North Carolina Branch and later transitioned into a sales role as an Orthopaedic Trauma Sales Representative in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Following five successful years with Stryker, Frank joined Alliance International as an Account Executive and Senior Military Officer Recruiter. He is involved in the selection of prospective candidates, the execution of Alliance’s hiring conferences and the evaluation of the follow-up interview and offer process as well as client management in his role as an Account Executive. Frank resides in Cary, North Carolina with his wife Kimberly and their son Luca. He is a recent graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan Flagler Business School where he received his Masters of Business Administration in August of 2010. He is an active member of the Naval Academy Alumni Association’s North Carolina Triangle Chapter.
Jake Massacci
A native of Ohio, Jake is a graduate of Southeast High School and the United States Military Academy at West Point. While there he was a four year letterman on the Sprint Football team while also boxing and grappling at the club level; he also completed Air Assault qualification. He commissioned as a Military Police officer and served for 5 years. After graduating MP Officer Basic Course at Fort Leonardwood, MO, he was assigned to the 759th Military Police Battalion stationed at Fort Carson for his duty station. While there, his positions included Assistant S3 Training Officer, Platoon Leader, Division PMO Operations Officer, Company Commander (rear detachment) and Fort Carson PMO Operations Officer. He deployed to Iraq for 15 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2011, Jake joined the Alliance team as the Senior JMO recruiter. He currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wonderful wife, Micaela and their beautiful daughter Ava. Jake also continues to serve as a MALO in the Army Reserve.
